John Neate is a singer, guitarist and band member who plays a wide variety of music rooted in classic rock, but also including 90's rock, folk rock, country and other genres. His focus when playing a gig is to share familiar covers of rock classics, and mix in a few very listenable lesser-known songs by a variety of artists. He strives to make the music a pleasurable and fun part of the audience’s experience on their night out, and receives as many positive comments for some of the lesser known music as for the more popular offerings. He tries to touch on multiple genres to offer something for almost everyone, changing up style, tempo & intensity. In short, he likes to provide something musically different than just straight predictable covers, constantly amending set lists and learning new tunes. Available in the Tri-State region (Pennsylvania, New York & New Jersey) and occasionally beyond, as a solo act or with his band - "John Paul and the Road."
